Recently I watched a designer by the name of Richard Seymour talk about “How Beauty Feels”. It really got me thinking and he is dead on. There are very few things, if any, that EVERYONE finds beautiful. Beauty is different for everyone and it is a feeling that one has and it is something you feel in your gut. We find things beautiful either by the way it looks but also by the knowledge of how something is was created. The difficulty of its creation. With design work the designer has only a second or a fraction of a second to get you attracted to the beauty of the design or that items or that product. Do you find this to be true? If you get time you should watch his speech on Ted Talk and I would love to know how you feel.
